The men of the Denver Professional Men’s Club (DPMC) are thrilled to celebrate our 35th Anniversary! Founded in 1978, DPMC is a professional gay men's association that host monthly cocktail parties in terrific venues. Our club has a rich history in Denver’s gay men’s community and provides a solid social network for men to personally meet, mingle, bond and enjoy each other’s company.
OUR MEN
The club provides an eclectic flavor of members from sophisticated to trendy, urban to Colorado mountain dwellers with a mixture of ages, backgrounds and ethnic cultures. We all have one thing in common that we are gay and we enjoy sharing our life’s experiences in a safe, comfortable and beautiful environment with other gay men. Many of our members are long standing members who have developed life-long friendships. We continue to evolve and grow as we welcome new members.
OUR EVENTS
Each year we produce 11 social events that range from intimate settings such as an exquisite private home or art gallery to Denver’s majestic mansions. We select the finest venues and caterers who are supportive of gay men. Our bar staff is friendly and are happy to serve the beverage of your choice. Our events range from casual to formal with occasional theme parties. 2013 will end on a highpoint with our special 35th Anniversary Holiday Gala event.
OUR STRUCTURE
The club is governed by an executive committee consisting of volunteers. We encourage our members to lend their creativity, skills and expertise for the betterment of the club. The executive committee oversees all operations for our membership of over 160 men.
OUR MEMBERSHIP
Each member pays annual dues of $200.00. The dues allow the club to fund our events and expenses associated with the operations of the club. Dues are pro-rate for members who join the club after the first of the year.
